We visit many farms and talk with farmers to ensure we always have the best quality rice. For rice cake, rice is the most fundamental ingredient. For tteok (떡, Korean rice cake), quality of rice is always the most important factor. Kim’C Market proudly presents White Tteok (떡국떡, rice cake for rice cake soup) that is made of freshly milled, single-origin Korean rice from Korea.
Kim'C Market's tteok is uniquely different from mass market ones. We mill the single-origin, very premium Korean brown rice to be white rice a few days prior to the tteok production. We grind it to make it powder, then eventually make a rice cake dough. This is a very quality-focused way of making tteok, and you can have the freshest rice cake at least in North America.
This tteok comes in a vacuum-seal with a small pack of desiccant. We recommend you consume the rice cake upon its arrival, or keep it in your freezer.

여러 곡물을 이용해 만들 수는 있지만 뭐니 뭐니해도 떡은 쌀로 만든다는 게 공식처럼 자리잡고 있지요. 신선하게 정미한 고급쌀로 떡을 만들어야 훨씬 맛있지 않을까 라는 질문을 갖고 떡 생산을 시작했습니다. 혼합미인데다 쌀알이 깨져 판매할 수 없는 저급한 쌀로 만드는 대부분의 떡과는 차원부터 다르게 합니다. 한국의 한 농장에서 수확한 싱글오리진 단일품종을 직접 수입해, 생산 며칠 전 정미해서 떡을 만들기에 신선하고 맛이 깨끗합니다. 아주 약간의 소금을 넣을 뿐 당연히 첨가제는 없고 그 어떤 감미료나 설탕을 사용하지 않아요.
방습제 팩을 넣고 진공포장을 했습니다. 받으시는대로 바로 드시거나 냉동고에 보관해주세요.
