Shipping & Return Policy


We ship out orders only in the US, no later than two business days after the balance on your order has been processed. Upon shipment, you will receive a shipping notification email with the shipment service and tracking information. We may not process, ship or deliver your order during weekends or holidays. International deliveries are not available at this time.

Please note that delivery time can be affected by holidays, weather conditions, customs laws or other variables which are beyond our control.

We do not hold responsibility for delayed deliveries or lost packages due to incorrect or incomplete addresses provided by the customer. We do not have control over where the delivery service places your package. You will be notified by email when your package is prepared, and we will include a tracking number for your convenience.

Occasionally, delivery tracking updates don't reflect immediately, even if the package has already been picked up and scanned. We suggest that you continue to refresh the tracking page and most likely you will see a change when it's out for delivery.

We hold no responsibility for the delivery location on the specified premises as we do not oversee where the delivery person drops off your package. You may bring these specifications up to your door person or leave a note on your door for whomever is delivering your package.

Undeliverable packages are usually returned to us at an extra shipping cost. Once the undeliverable packages are retrieved, we will cancel the order and process the refund immediately. Please note that all shipping costs are non-refundable. If the returned package requires any extra shipping costs, we deduct it from the final refund. We do not refund or replace items unless we receive the returned packages.

We ship orders via UPS or USPS. If you require a different address for USPS or UPS, please let us know as soon as your order is placed. We are unable to make changes to the shipping address once an order's been shipped out. Please make sure to check all addresses before completing your order during checkout.

Gift to Korea Shipping: Currently our shipping address only takes ones in the U.S. by default. Before checking out, you will have the option to provide the recipient's Korea address on the product page (it helps our producer a lot if you type in the address in Korean). However, when checking out, you must input any U.S. address in the shipping address or it will prevent you from checking out.

Premium Kimchi from Korea: Kimchi is made-to-order freshly in Korea then shipped directly to your home.

Any orders placed by 11:59pm, Thursday EST will be made fresh on the following Monday (in Korea time), and depart for the U.S. by Wednesday. You can expect your kimchi to arrive at your door in the U.S. by Friday that week. (i.e. You placed an order on 5/25 (W) then you will receive it by 6/3 (F))

We are not responsible for how the delivery is handled, especially because these are being shipped from Korea and not handled from our Brooklyn warehouse. However, a gift card of $15 will be provided for every damaged product received in the HaeDamChon Kimchi order.


Non-Frozen (Room Temperature): Free shipping in the US (restrictions apply) for $69 or more.

Frozen and Non-Frozen: Free shipping in the US (restrictions apply) for $209 or more.

  • To meet our requirements to purchase frozens, the minimum must meet $79 worth of frozen goods.
  • Orders below $209 including both frozen and non-frozen goods will be charged a one-time flat rate for 1-2 days express delivery, however, frozen items must meet the $79 minimum.
  • Orders below $69 will be charged with both flat rates for frozen and non-frozen when combined.
  • Frozen orders are shipped Monday - Thursday (including combined non-frozen products). 
  • Frozen products are unavailable to ship to Alaska, Hawaii, Army Post Offices or US territories.
  • Due to extremely high express shipping rates, frozen products are unavailable for replacement at this moment, only refunds are available if a frozen item is received damaged or delayed.

Our free shipping policy does not include orders shipped to Alaska, Hawaii, Army Post Offices or US territories. For these locations orders are shipped through priority mail and rates are based on your address and the weight and dimensions of your order.

Offer excludes pre-order and fresh Korea items.


At Kim'C Market we strive to ensure that you receive only the best. This ethos extends to our shipping methods. Frozen items are shipped overnight in an insulated shipping box with dry ice to make sure the products stay frozen. Fresh items are made-to-order freshly in Korea and then shipped to you. 

In doing so, the shipping material and shipping costs are extremely high. We did not want to sacrifice the quality of the product by choosing a cheaper shipping option. We had to make a hard choice by implementing a shipping charge for these pre-order items. We will be charging a shipping fee of 40-100% on your order according to the shipping zone and we will cover the rest. Thank you for your understanding of this circumstance.


Orders are available for pickup in Brooklyn, NY. You will need a guest pass to enter, so please email us when you'd like to pick up.

  • From the outdoor parking lot, you will see Building 303.
  • Show your visitor pass at the security gate. Visitor pass is in a separate email sent by Proxyclick.

*Frozen items for pickup orders: We're working on finding a solution to remove the $99 min for our pickup customers, however our current system is preventing us. Please add multiples of one item to meet the $99 requirement and let us know how many you plan to pickup. We will then refund you for the difference.


You may have noticed an extra line at checkout, this is a package protection you can keep or remove from your order.

You may return new, unopened items within 7 days of delivery for a refund minus any shipping costs. Items must be returned in new or unused condition and contain all original materials included with the shipment. All shipping costs are non-refundable. If the returned package requires any extra shipping costs, we deduct it from the final refund.

Products that have been used will be refused and returned to sender at the sender's expense. If the return is a result of our error, we will refund the full cost of the merchandise and shipping charges. Additional guidelines are also noted below.

Items that are not refundable:

- Items more than seven (7) days after delivery
- Milled Rice Orders: Any in-house milled rice orders may be refunded with store credit only (this is for safety reasons as we mill our rice fresh to order with customer's preferred selection of mill rate).
- Refrigerated Items
- Frozen Items
- Items that have signs of use
- Damaged or Defective Items (If the original item is damaged or defective, or if an incorrect item was shipped, you may receive refund/credit for these items)

*If the package returns to us due to your absence, we discard the refrigerated or frozen food and any amount of refrigerated or frozen products will not be refunded.

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. If your returned item(s) is approved, we will then process the refund immediately. A credit will be applied to your credit card or other original methods of payment, within 5 to 7 business days.

We will provide refunds when an image is shared with the issue of your order, store credit will be provided for inquiries without images.

If for any reason, we are unable to fulfill your order, we reserve the right to cancel the order. In the event of the cancellation, customers will receive full refunds. We will notify the customers immediately (using the contact information provided by the customer). We are, however, not obligated to obtain permission or acknowledgment prior to the cancellation.


Prices listed on our website may change at our sole discretion. We are not responsible for refunding the difference between the sale and original price if your purchase was made outside of the sale/promotional date.

Frequently changing promotions on are only valid during the time frame stated, promotions are not valid on previous orders and we are unable to match any of our previous prices.
