Description

Not all rice needs to be glossy or soft to be elegant. Shin Dongjin has a different personality—subtle, structured, and satisfying in that distinctly Korean way. Grown in Gokseong, a county known for its clean mountain air, mineral-rich water, and natural farming heritage, this rice brings substance and integrity to the table.

When cooked, Shin Dongjin has a pleasant chew thanks to its slightly thicker grain and balanced moisture content. It isn’t sticky-sweet; it’s more restrained. Earthy. Calm. A great match for hearty stews, grilled proteins, and everyday meals where rice is meant to carry flavor, not overshadow it.

Storage: Keep refrigerated in an airtight container to preserve freshness and prevent contamination from odors or moisture. 

Cooking Tip: To cook on a stovetop, add water until it’s about ¾ to 1 inch above the rice. Bring to a boil uncovered, then cover and simmer on low for 10 minutes. Turn off the heat and let it rest for another 10 minutes.
