Pear & Balloon Flower Drink by Ddoddomom

It’s more important than ever to ensure your child is not sick, especially considering the times.  It’s rather disconcerting should they have trouble breathing or have a cough.   One easily falls prey to colds and other respiratory ailments when seasons change, and it’s common for Korean parents to give their children a concoction of slow-boiled balloon flower (a.k.a. bellflower) and pear during this time.  They are ingredients well-known in traditional Korean medicine to benefit the respiratory system. Ddoddomom has come up with an easy-to-drink pouch, containing in them the goodness of Korean pears, balloon flower roots, young smooth loofahs, and ginger as not-from-concentrate natural juice extracts that involve no boiling and no loss of nutrients.  Children do not take well to the bitter taste of balloon flower roots, so Ddoddomom added generous amounts of sweet pear to produce a sweet-tasting drink without any sugar.
