It starts with the rice. Chung-O blends organic Korean rice into an all-organic pancake flour — wheat forms the base, with corn, glutinous rice, and potato rounding it out — and it's the rice and starches that fry the batter light and leave the edges crisp and clean. Seasoned with onion, garlic, and a touch of turmeric and organic from the first grain, it turns everyday favorites like kimchijeon and seafood pajeon into something you can trust down to the flour.

How to use it

Whisk 300g of the mix into 400ml of water until smooth (serves 3–4). Fold in vegetables or seafood cut to the size you like, then pour a ladleful at a time into a well-oiled hot pan and fry 2–3 minutes per side until golden. Adjust the water for thickness and the time for crispness. It works for kimchijeon, buchujeon, and haemul pajeon, and for vegetable fritters or any pan-fried jeon.

유기농 쌀로 만든 부침가루

이렇게 쓰세요

부침가루 300g을 물 400ml에 뭉치지 않게 잘 풀어 주세요(3~4인분). 채소나 해산물을 원하는 크기로 썰어 넣고, 기름을 넉넉히 두른 팬에 한 국자씩 부어 앞뒤로 2~3분씩 노릇하게 부치면 됩니다. 물 양은 원하는 농도에 맞춰, 굽는 시간은 원하는 바삭함에 맞춰 조절하세요. 김치전·부추전·해물파전은 물론, 채소 부침이나 전 요리 어디에나 두루 쓸 수 있어요.
