Description

The Korean soban is a personal table traditionally used while sitting on the floor. Hojokban, meaning “tiger-legged tray,” refers to the curved-out legs that evoke strength and elegance. Ha Ji Hoon’s reinterpretation uses durable, high-transparency polycarbonate—200 times stronger than glass—highlighting the joinery and classic form.

This piece is part of his “Ban Clear” series and serves as both a design object and functional furniture. The structure celebrates age-old craftsmanship while seamlessly integrating into contemporary interiors. Choose from three refined hues that add personality without overpowering your space.

Ha Ji Hoon is a South Korean artist and designer known for transforming traditional Korean motifs into modern furniture.
