The importance of where a crop of rice comes from can't be overstated. 

Traditionally, the Korean province of Gyeonggi has enjoyed the reputation of being the best rice producer in the country, even becoming the official rice supplier to Korea's royal families. The province’s soil, water and climate are ideal to grow excellent rice.  Charm Dream, a rice crop developed by the Gyeonggi Provincial Agricultural Research Institute, grows only in Gyeonggi.

We store our rice in low temperature and moisture conditions to ensure freshness through the ordering process. Every order is custom milled right here in New York City - guaranteeing your rice is fresh when it arrives.

COOKING INSTRUCTION FOR PERFECT RICE ON STOVETOP:

  • Usually ratio is 2 cups water to 1 cup rice
  • High heat until boiling
  • Lower heart and let simmer for 20 minutes
  • Turn off stove and set aside for 10 minutes before enjoying

Cooking Rice On Stovetop

We usually cook our rice (water about 3/4 to 1 inch higher than the rice/a little more water for brown rice) on the stovetop by bringing the rice to a boil without the lid. Once boiling, lower the heat and cover with the lid for 10 minutes. After 10 minutes, turn off the heat and leave to the side for another 10 minutes.
