한국 유일의 장인이 손수 말총을 엮고 옻칠해 완성한, 단 하나뿐인 티 스트레이너는 실용성과 아름다움을 모두 갖추었어요.  다관에서 찻잔으로 차를 따를 때 찻잎을 부드럽게 걸러내어, 차 한 잔의 순간을 고요하고 깊은 의식처럼 바꿔줄 거에요.

Description

Inspired by a centuries-old Korean tradition, the Mamiche Tea Strainer and Infuser reinterprets Joseon-era horsehair craftsmanship into a refined, functional tea tool for modern living.

Handwoven with over 800 strands of Mongolian or Korean horsehair, framed in natural bamboo, and sealed with seven layers of ottchil lacquer, it gently filters tea leaves to preserve the pure aroma and smooth flavor of loose leaf tea.

Each piece is handcrafted by Baek Kyung-hyun, Korea’s last master of horsehair weaving, making every strainer uniquely beautiful.

마미체란 옛 조선시대부터 사용되어 온 전통적인 말총공예에서 유래한 차 도구입니다.
몽골산 혹은 한반도산 말총 800가닥 이상을 촘촘히 엮어 만든 망과 자연 대나무를 깎아 틀을 만들고, 일곱 번의 옻칠로 마감된 이 제품은, 차를 따를 때 찻잎이나 미세한 찌꺼기를 걸러내어 밁고 부드러운 차 본연의 향과 맛을 온전히 살려주는 정교한 도구이자, 공예적 아름다움을 지닌 생활품이지요.

한국 유일의 말총공예 장인 백경현 선생님의 손끝에서 완성된 이 거름망과 인퓨저는, 각 제품마다 고유한 표정과 깊이를 지니고 있어 단순한 차 도구를 넘어선 존재감을 발휘합니다.
