This is the soy sauce Owl's Storeroom makes for family cooking. The base is naturally brewed soy sauce, and instead of refined sugar, the sweetness comes from real fruit — apple, pear, lemon, and plum — simmered in with vegetables, dried seafood, and Korean roots and herbs, more than thirty ingredients in all, with nothing artificial. Two things make it easy to cook with: the fruit-based sweetness lets you cut back on added sugar in children's dishes, and the salt is lower than a standard soy sauce, so it doubles as a low-sodium seasoning soy sauce for everyday family meals. Rounder and gentler than an everyday bottle, it's the one to reach for whether you're cooking for little ones or just want a softer, fruit-sweet seasoning on the table.

How to use it

It shines in the dishes kids reach for first: jangjorim (soy-braised beef), quail-egg jorim, bulgogi, soy-sauce tteokbokki, and a simple bowl of egg rice. It works just as well across everyday braises, stir-fries, and japchae. Because it already carries a gentle fruit sweetness, you can usually cut back on or skip added sugar. Spoon it over rice, season a lunchbox side, or let it do the seasoning in a quick weeknight stir-fry.
