Each is a low footed plate—a compact take on the traditional Korean soban (tray-table)—resting on an eight-sided pillar foot that lifts food gently off the table. Across its eight facets, the color of the porcelain shifts subtly with the light. A small plate made to treat even the smallest dish as something precious. Two sizes available.

해인요의 백자 각면 소반이에요. 팔(八)각 기둥 모양의 낮은 굽이 달린, 작은 굽 접시(소반) 형태로, 김상인 작가가 손으로 빚어냈습니다. 전통 소반을 작은 플레이트로 재해석해, 음식을 은은하게 살짝 들어 올려 담아내죠. 여덟 개의 면을 따라 빛에 따라 미묘하게 달라지는 백자의 색감이 아름답습니다. 작은 음식 하나도 귀하게 대접하고자 하는 마음을 담은 작은 접시로, 두 가지 크기가 준비되어 있습니다.

A small footed plate that treats every dish as precious

Haein-yo reimagines the traditional Korean soban as a small footed plate in white porcelain—carrying the purity of baekja and a quiet wish for good fortune, made to honor even the smallest serving. Each rests on a low, eight-sided pillar foot, and across those eight facets the color of the porcelain shifts subtly with the light—quietly beautiful.

A glaze that settles the mind

Its milky-white (yubaek) glaze is clear and still, calming to the eye. Like a vessel from a bygone era that has mellowed with time, it carries just half a sheen—Haein-yo's faintly bluish glaze and elegant proportions creating something you won't find in the ceramics of any other country. It feels like a precise blend of inherited baekja tradition and a contemporary reinterpretation.

A set of two sizes

The two sizes work beautifully together—for plating a few precious bites, tea and sweets, a single flower, or an object you want to raise up and set apart. Lovely in use, and just as lovely simply displayed.

작은 음식도 귀하게 대접하는 굽 접시

해인요는 전통 소반을 백자 굽 접시로 재해석했어요. 백자의 순수함과 복을 비는 마음을 담아, 작은 음식 하나도 귀하게 대접하고자 하는 접시죠. 팔각 기둥 모양의 낮은 굽 위에 놓이며, 여덟 개의 면을 따라 빛에 따라 미묘하게 달라지는 백자의 색감이 아름답습니다.

마음까지 편안하게 하는 유약

유백색의 맑고 고요한 유약은 보는 이의 마음까지 편안하게 만들어줘요. 세월을 녹여낸 옛 시절의 그릇처럼 딱 절반만큼의 광택이 묻어나는 해인요의 푸르스름한 빛의 유약 처리와 우아한 비례감은, 세계 그 어느 나라의 도자기에서도 찾을 수 없는 것입니다. 백자의 대물림과 동시대적 재해석을 절묘하게 배합해 구현한 것처럼 느껴져요.

두 가지 크기의 세트

두 크기는 함께 두었을 때 더욱 아름다워요. 귀한 한 입, 차와 다과, 한 송이 꽃, 또는 돋보이게 하고 싶은 오브제를 올려두기에 좋습니다. 쓰임으로도, 그저 놓아두는 것만으로도 아름다운 그릇이에요.
