Real turmeric, and two ways to have it

Instant curry usually gets its color and punch from artificial help. Tory Food's comes from the root itself — Korean-grown turmeric blended with cumin, coriander, and fennel, its deep yellow coming from curcumin rather than dye, with no artificial colors or flavors. The Mild is gentle and rounded, leaning on apple and tomato with a soft curry warmth, an easy one for younger eaters. The Spicy brings red chili seed oil and a fuller spice blend for real heat. Both build on a savory Korean soy-and-broth base.

How to cook it

Stir-fry cubed potato, carrot, onion, and your protein of choice until they start to soften. Dissolve the powder in water, pour it in, and simmer, stirring, until the sauce turns thick and glossy. From there, enjoy it however you like: over warm rice, spooned over udon or other noodles, or as a dipping sauce for a crisp fried pork cutlet.

깍둑 썬 감자·당근·양파와 원하는 고기를 숨이 죽을 때까지 볶으세요. 가루를 물에 갠 뒤 부어, 저어 가며 걸쭉하고 윤기 날 때까지 끓입니다. 즐기는 방법은 다양해요. 따뜻한 밥에 얹어도, 우동이나 국수에 부어도, 바삭하게 구운 돈가스에 곁들여 찍어 먹어도 좋습니다.
