Sizes: Spoon approx. 20cm (7.9") long × 3.5cm (1.4") wide. Fork approx. 20cm (7.9") long × 2cm (0.8") wide. Handmade, so slight variation is natural.

Slender lines for the sweet course

These are the pieces for the sweet, unhurried end of a meal. Each has a long, slender handle and a small head — a shallow, tidy bowl on the spoon, a slim fork alongside — carved from a single piece of solid birch for a light, elegant feel in the hand. Finished with natural beeswax, each piece keeps birch's light, bright grain crisp and stays easy to care for.

How to use it

Reach for the spoon for gelato, ice cream, yogurt, pudding, and jelly, and the fork for cut fruit, cake, and finger foods on a board. They're a quiet upgrade for a coffee-and-dessert moment. Hand wash, dry, and don't leave them to soak, and keep them out of the dishwasher and away from high heat, which can warp or crack wood over time. Rub in a little food-safe oil now and then, and they only grow warmer and more beautiful the longer you use them.

식사의 달콤하고 느긋한 끝을 위한 수저예요. 손잡이는 가늘고 길게, 머리는 작게 깎았어요. 스푼은 얕고 야무진 머리, 포크는 가느다란 갈래고요. 자작나무 통나무 한 조각으로 깎아 손에 가볍고 우아하게 감겨요. 천연 밀랍으로 마감해 결이 선명하게 살고, 관리하기도 편해요. 자작나무의 밝은 결이 저마다 살아 있고요.

이렇게 쓰세요

스푼은 젤라토와 아이스크림, 요거트, 푸딩, 젤리에, 포크는 자른 과일과 케이크, 보드 위 핑거 푸드에 쓰세요. 커피와 디저트 한 자리를 조용히 근사하게 만들어주는 세트예요. 손으로 씻어 물기를 닦고, 물에 오래 담그지 마세요. 식기세척기와 고열은 피해 주세요. 고온에 반복 노출되면 나무가 뒤틀리거나 갈라질 수 있거든요. 가끔 식용유(푸드 세이프 오일)를 얇게 발라주면 쓸수록 색이 깊어져 더 예뻐집니다.

The studio was born from woodworker Choi Jae-jin's love of the craft. What began as carving small wooden items grew into something quieter and more meditative: for Choi, the sound of wood being shaped by a hand tool is a kind of meditation, and every piece carries a little of that stillness.

Everything here starts from real, everyday use. Each design begins with something Choi wanted in his own home, then goes through round after round of testing until it's genuinely worth keeping. 작업실은 목공을 사랑하는 최재진 작가로부터 시작되었어요. 작은 나무 소품을 깎던 일이 점차 더 고요하고 명상적인 작업으로 이어졌죠. 최재진 작가에게 손도구로 나무를 다듬는 소리는 일종의 명상이며, 모든 작품에는 그 고요함이 조금씩 담겨 있습니다.

이곳의 모든 물건은 실제 일상의 쓰임에서 출발해요. 최재진 작가가 집에서 직접 쓰고 싶었던 물건에서 디자인이 시작되고, 정말로 곁에 둘 만한 물건이 될 때까지 여러 번의 테스트를 거칩니다. 그의 믿음은 단순합니다—일상의 물건은 단순하고, 실용적이며, 오래 쓸 수 있어야 한다는 것. 쉽게 바꾸는 물건이 아니라, 소중히 여기며 오래도록 곁에 두는 물건을 지향합니다.
