Pound cake: 5–6 days at room temperature, 2 weeks refrigerated, 1 month frozen; avoid room temperature in hot, humid weather. Jeonggwa: can be kept at room temperature, but refrigeration is recommended; best within 1 year of production
Shipping: Ships to Korean addresses only. Delivered within 3 business days, order cutoff 7 PM EST; free nationwide, 1–2 extra days for Jeju and remote areas. Not shipped on weekends or holidays. For a specific delivery date, note your preferred date at checkout.
Cancellation & returns: Cancel by 7 PM EST on the order date. For packages returned as undeliverable (wrong address, absent recipient, or refusal), the customer covers the item and round-trip shipping.

Handmade yanggaeng and mugwort pound cake

DAN.ZARI's Korean Dessert Gift Set No.1 gathers three kinds of Korean sweet, each with its own texture. The yanggaeng, DAN.ZARI's signature, are cubes of bean jelly made by simmering grain bean paste with agar and other ingredients low and slow until they set. They are chewy at first, then melt softly, with a sweetness gentle enough to let each flavor speak: citron, red bean, coconut, black sesame, lemon ginger, matcha, chestnut vanilla, berry, and sesame caramel. The pound cake takes the familiar butter-egg-sugar loaf and bakes it with rice flour and young mugwort tea powder from Hadong, so it comes out soft and fine-crumbed with a green, faintly herbal finish.

Four seasons of jeonggwa

Jeonggwa are fruits, roots, and nuts simmered slowly in syrup until glossy, one of the oldest sweets on the Korean tea table. DAN.ZARI's jeonggwa follow the four seasons in four colors: candied dried kumquat, crunchy walnut gangjeong, jeonggwa made from Hongok apples, and bellflower root dusted with roasted soybean powder. Each has its own color and chew, and together they make a traditional dessert easy to enjoy on any ordinary day.

How to enjoy it

Lay everything out on a single wide plate: a few cubes of yanggaeng, slices of pound cake, and a scattering of jeonggwa. Pour green tea, roasted barley tea, or a light oolong, and let guests choose. Serve the yanggaeng cool from the refrigerator. The mugwort-matcha pound cake is also good lightly toasted with butter, the way you might treat a slice of banana bread, and the walnut gangjeong works on a cheese plate beside a soft blue.

단자리의 한식다과선물 세트 1호에는 식감이 저마다 다른 한국 과자 세 가지가 들어 있습니다. 단자리의 시그니처인 수제 양갱은 곡물 앙금에 한천과 여러 부재료를 더해 오랜 시간 뭉근하게 졸여 굳혔어요. 처음엔 쫀득하다가 입안에서 부드럽게 녹고, 단맛이 은은해 유자, 붉은팥, 코코넛, 흑임자, 레몬진저, 말차, 밤바닐라, 베리, 참깨캐러멜까지 재료 본연의 맛이 또렷합니다. 쌀 파운드케이크는 버터와 달걀, 설탕으로 만드는 친근한 파운드케이크를 쌀가루 반죽에 하동산 여린 쑥차 가루를 넣어 구웠습니다. 결이 곱고 촉촉하며, 끝에 쑥 향이 은은하게 남아요.
