Trunas is known for their freeze-dried technology, led by CEO Dr. Sung-Sik Kim. After serving many years in public service, Kim joined his wife’s company Trunas and started expanding their product offerings.
The freeze dried technology used is 100% full freeze dry method rather than hot air drying or partial freeze drying method. This type of 100% full freeze drying allows for more flavor, aroma, and nutrition to be preserved in comparison to other methods, which although cheaper, jeopardizes the quality of Trunas standards. In addition, Trunas does not use any chemical additives in their recipes.
