Description

Material: Copper 83.3%, Tin 16.7% (Hanbaek Non-ferrous Co., Ltd.)
Set Includes: 3 banchan bowls, 1 rectangular plate, 1 rice bowl with lid, 1 soup bowl, 1 yugi scrubber
Storage & Use: Soak in lukewarm water with vinegar (30:1) before first use. Dry thoroughly to avoid stains. Use yugi scrubbers to maintain natural shine.
Note: Discoloration from flame and white spots are normal for natural, chemical-free bronzeware.

관리법: 첫 사용 전 식초 희석물(30:1)에 담가주세요. 세척 후 물기를 닦아 보관하세요. 유기 수세미로 결 방향으로 닦으면 광택이 살아납니다.
참고: 불에 닿아 생기는 변색이나 백색 반점은 방부제가 없는 유기 제품의 자연스러운 현상입니다.

Joseon Yugi is a third-generation workshop led by Hwang Jooyeon, continuing the legacy of his father and grandfather. Since 1978, the family has refined its craft from ceremonial brassware to full bronzeware table settings. Using 16th-century mudflat casting methods, each piece undergoes a 9-step hand-forged process. Joseon Yugi now serves both everyday tables and national heritage sites, including UNESCO-listed Jongmyo rituals.

조선유기공방은 3대째 유기 제작 전통을 이어오고 있습니다. 1978년 고 황중식 선생이 설립한 공방은 불교 의례용품 제작에서 시작해, 지금은 16세기식 갯벌주조 방식으로 유기를 제작합니다. 9단계 수작업 공정을 거쳐 완성된 유기 제품은 유네스코 종묘제례 행사에도 사용되며, 전통과 현대를 잇는 아름다움을 전하고 있습니다.
