Goraesa Fishcake is a power brand that turned Busan City into a city of fishcakes. The store, located at exit 5 of Haeundae Station, has been renewed into a modern space that resembles a cafΓ© and bakery. Tourists can get a fun fishcake experience and try out unique fishcake recipes. Goraesa Fishcake has a long history β it has focused on making only fishcakes since it was founded in Busan in 1963. Hundreds of different fishcakes have been developed since then. The company was the first in Korea to create a clean suction degreaser (a device to remove oil without sponges or non-woven fabric, making it harmless to humans), and also the first to implement a fast freeze system (-4β) to block any possible growth of microorganisms. It also has various patents and has led the way to transform fishcakes from mere street food to nutritious premium food.
