About

Odae mostly grows in Gangwon-do, a province with mountains, and is usually the first rice to be harvested in any year.  The rice grows in the cold region so it significantly reduces the need for pesticide spray.  Odae rice has a thick body making your chewing pleasant.  Its white is amazingly pure and transparent.  Super delicious.

오대쌀은 강원도 철원 지역에서 주로 재배하는 품종이에요.  냉대에서 자라다 보니 병충해에 강하지요.  한국에서 가장 먼저 수확하는 쌀로 유명합니다.  쌀알이 굵어 씹는 맛이 훌륭하고 은은한 향이 상당히 매력적이에요.  여러분이 원하시는 분도 (milling rate)와 무게, 품종대로 김씨마켓이 정미해서 보내드리는데요.  오대쌀은 백미를 특히 추천하는데 알이 아주 투명하고 단맛이 대단하기 때문이죠.

Storage tip

For the best quality and taste, please keep the this rice in a sealable container and keep it refrigerated.  Rice absorbs other odors.   

쌀은 냄새를 흡수하는 성질도 강해요.  주변에 조리해 놓은 국냄비나 손질한 음식재료, 참기름, 세제 등 강한 냄새를 풍기는 것과는 거리를 유지해 주세요.  밀폐 용기에 담아 냉장보관하시는 것을 최우선으로 추천드려요.
