Description
Gangreung city in the Gangwon Province is known for its chodang soondubu, a soft tofu made of beans and seawater. Numerous restaurants have come together to form Chodang Tofu Village in Gangreung, serving tasty dishes of this signature ingredient to locals and tourists alike. Donghwa Garden has been part of the village since opening its doors in 1996 and is famous among foodies for its creation, Jjamsoonyi, a dish combining jjambbong (a popular spicy seafood noodle dish sold in Chinese restaurants in Korea) with soondubu (soft tofu).
Fresheasy has joined hands with Donghwa Garden to create Spicy & Savory Soft Tofu Stew, a dish with rich-tasting soft tofu floating in a broth of dried pollack, bean sprouts, and vegetables with a fiery kick of Cheongyang chilies.
