About

We proudly present you ‘Saechungmu’ (새청무) from Jangheung, Jeollanam-do, in the southwestern part of Korea.  At Kim'C market, we import Saechungmu brown rice from Jangheung and mill it right here in New York City before shipping it to your door.  This allows you to experience the freshest flavors that Korean rice has to offer.

Description

The quality of rice can dictate the overall taste of a Korean meal; a delicious crop of rice elevates your eating experience to another level. For that reason, Kim’C Market selects only the best in healthy, tasty rice. We have high expectations for our rice - it must be single origin, high-quality, and, of course, delicious.

Cooking Rice On Stovetop

We usually cook our rice (water about 3/4 to 1 inch higher than the rice/a little more water for brown rice) on the stovetop by bringing the rice to a boil without the lid. Once boiling, lower the heat and cover with the lid for 10 minutes. After 10 minutes, turn off the heat and leave to the side for another 10 minutes.
